Terms of Service

Welcome to Salt + Sand Publishing. These Terms of Service outline the rules and regulations for doing business with us, specifically regarding magazine advertising and trade show exhibitions. By purchasing an ad placement or a vendor booth, you agree to these terms.

1. Magazine Advertising Terms

1.1. Payment & Booking

All advertising space must be paid for in full at the time of booking to secure your placement. Advertising fees are strictly non-refundable once the booking is confirmed, as space is reserved exclusively for you and cannot easily be resold near publication dates.

1.2. Artwork Submission

Advertisers are responsible for submitting print-ready artwork by the specified deadline provided at the time of booking. If artwork is not received by the deadline, Salt + Sand Publishing reserves the right to run a previous ad (if applicable) or forfeit the space without a refund.

1.3. Content & Liability

The Advertiser is solely responsible for the content of their advertisement. By submitting artwork, you warrant that you possess all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for the images, text, and intellectual property contained within the ad. Salt + Sand Publishing reserves the right to reject any advertising that does not align with our brand standards or is deemed inappropriate, at our sole discretion.

2. Trade Show & Event Vendor Terms

2.1. Booth Registration & Payment

Vendor booth reservations are confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. Due to the logistical planning required for our events, all booth sales are final and non-refundable.

2.2. Space Allocation

Booth locations and floor plans are assigned at the sole discretion of Salt + Sand Publishing. While we attempt to accommodate specific requests, we cannot guarantee exact placement or exclusivity within a specific vendor category.

2.3. Setup and Teardown

Vendors must strictly adhere to the load-in and load-out times provided in the event itinerary. Booths must be completely set up before the doors open to the public and cannot be dismantled until the event has officially concluded.

2.4. Liability & Insurance

Salt + Sand Publishing, the venue, and their respective staff are not liable for any lost, damaged, or stolen property belonging to the vendor. Vendors are strongly encouraged to carry their own liability and property insurance to cover their goods, equipment, and staff during the event.

3. General Provisions

Salt + Sand Publishing reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. In the unlikely event that a publication or event is cancelled by Salt + Sand Publishing, affected advertisers and vendors will be offered a credit for a future issue/event or a full refund.
